On June 2, 2023, the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) officially entered into force for the Philippines, marking the full entry into force of RCEP for the 10 ASEAN countries and 15 signatories including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. The full entry into force of RCEP fully reflects the determination and actions of the 15 parties to support an open, free, fair, inclusive and rules-based multilateral trading system, and will inject strong impetus into regional economic integration and comprehensively enhance the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment in East Asia. level, and help the long-term and stable development of the regional and global economies.
China will continue to promote the high-quality implementation of RCEP, provide guidance and services for localities, industries and enterprises to implement and make good use of the agreement, promote the continuous release of the agreement's dividends, and give full play to RCEP's role in promoting industrial chain supply chain cooperation and promoting high-level opening up and high-quality development.
