General Administration of Customs: Help enterprises make good use of the preferential tariffs of RCE

2023-05-26 16:24100

On March 20, the State Council Information Office held a series of press conferences on the theme of "Commitment to Authoritative Departments". Yu Jianhua, director of the General Administration of Customs, introduced at the meeting that we are evaluating 23 measures, and we will keep those that can be retained to ensure that Policy Continuity. On this basis, we aim at the pain points, difficulties and blocking points of the current enterprises through research, and also study new policy measures. There are several main considerations: First, unimpeded import and export logistics. Promote the construction of smart customs, support the construction of smart ports and smart borders, speed up and increase efficiency through technological means, and promote more convenient cross-border logistics. The second is to optimize the port business environment. Deeply promote the construction of "single window" for international trade, and provide enterprises with "one-stop" customs clearance services. The third is to reduce business costs. Help enterprises make good use of the preferential tariffs in RCEP and other free trade agreements to reduce the cost of import and export. The fourth is to support the development of new formats. Innovate the cross-border e-commerce customs supervision model to achieve precise supervision and fast customs clearance. Support the development of new formats such as market procurement trade and bonded maintenance.
