In the first eight months of this year, Hainan province's fixed asset investment increased by 1.7 percent over the same period last year.
The province's industrial investment, excluding real estate development, increased by 5.1 percent over the same period last year. Among them, the investment in scientific research and technical services increased by 96.2 percent year-on-year.
The proportion of its infrastructure investment increased by 10.5 percent year-on-year, contributing 146.4 percent to the growth of fixed asset investment in the first eight months.
Industrial investment grew rapidly, up 36.9 percent over the same period last year and contributing 275.1 percent to the investment growth in the first eight months of the year. Among them, the production and supply of electricity, gas, as well as water increased by 75.4 percent year-on-year.
The investment of the Danzhou Yangpu Economic Circle in the first eight months of the year increased by 18.3 percent compared with the same period last year, contributing 114.7 percent to the province's investment growth.
