The continuous breakthrough of biomedicine has gathered to form a complete innovation chain from target discovery, drug screening, clinical research, pilot scale up, registration and certification to mass production and listing. The industrial scale accounts for about 40% of the city's total, and there are more than 30 types of first class new drugs. 15% of the country's original new drugs and 10% of medical devices have been produced. Artificial intelligence is developing vigorously, and an artificial intelligence innovation ecosystem supported by basic research, innovation incubation, brand aggregation and system has been formed. There are more than 600 key enterprises, and the scale of related industries reaches more than 130 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of nearly 30% from 2019 to 2021.
The hard core industry has also continued to develop in Pudong. New progress was made in major aircraft types. The first flight test of the first C919 delivery aircraft has been successfully completed, and the six test aircraft have completed all flight test tasks and are about to be delivered with certificates.
