Notice of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission on the Prices of Gasoline and Diesel for Vehicles

Development and Reform Commissions of all districts, Sinopec Shanghai Petroleum Branch, PetroChina Shanghai Sales Branch, CNOOC Sales Shanghai Branch:

  According to the relevant notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, the relevant matters concerning the prices of gasoline and diesel for vehicles in this city are hereby notified as follows:

  1. The maximum retail prices of No. 89 gasoline and No. 0 diesel are 9,255 yuan and 8,225 yuan per ton respectively. See the attachment for details on the maximum retail prices of gasoline and diesel of each grade.

  Refined oil retail enterprises can independently formulate specific retail prices under the premise of not exceeding the maximum retail price, and file with the Municipal Price Bureau.

  2. The pricing methods for the highest supply price and the highest wholesale price of gasoline and diesel oil are still in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission's Shanghai Development and Reform Commission (2008) No. 019 document.

  3. The above adjusted prices will be implemented from 24:00 on May 16, 2023.

  Note: The gasoline and diesel prices in the table are the prices of VIA motor gasoline and VI motor diesel that comply with the sixth mandatory national standard.
