In the 2023 "National Low Carbon Day" home event held on that day, the project "Insist on high-quality development and create a zero-carbon comprehensive bonded zone in Xiangyu" from Xiamen As a park category, it was awarded the "2022 Typical Green and Low-Carbon Case" by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, exploring the "Xiamen Path" and contributing "Xiamen Experience" for the construction of a green and low-carbon park.
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out: "Promoting green and low-carbon economic and social development is the key link to achieve high-quality development." With the strong support of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, the "special zone spirit" of being the first and trying first, actively carried out policy innovation and practice in the field of ecological civilization, and supported Xiamen Port Logistics Co., Ltd. to build the Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone into a zero-carbon wisdom The comprehensive bonded zone realizes energy green transformation, low-carbon logistics development, and digital transformation of operations through intelligent management.
In September last year, certified by the China Classification Society, the total greenhouse gas emissions of the Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone achieved carbon neutrality, becoming the first comprehensive bonded zone in the country to achieve zero carbon emissions. At present, the park has become a new zero-carbon comprehensive bonded park with self-balancing internal carbon emission and carbon absorption, and deep integration of production and life.

The roof becomes a "power plant"
Looking down from the sky above the Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Area, the solar photovoltaic panels on the roof of the warehouse in the park are neatly arranged to form roof "power plants", which provide a continuous supply of electricity for the production of the park by converting light energy into electrical energy.
From 2020 to 2022, a photovoltaic power generation system with a total installed capacity of 5.5 megawatts has been built on the roofs and parking sheds of 1#, 3#, and 6# warehouses in the park, with an annual power generation of over 6.45 million kWh. At the same time, a 0.5 MW energy storage power station has been preliminarily built to realize "peak-shaving and valley-filling" of power consumption in the park. This year, a 3.5 MW energy storage power station will be built in the park to further create a leading domestic "energy self-balancing zero-carbon park".
