The latest research results of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area trade facilitation evaluation mechanism have been released, which can conduct quantitative evaluations of the level of trade facilitation.
Recently, the Shenzhen Customs scientific research project "Research on the SMART evaluation Mechanism for Trade Facilitation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" passed the acceptance test after review by relevant experts. I learned from Shenzhen Customs that in the past, the quantitative research on domestic trade facilitation was mostly based on international quantitative index standards for fragmented comparative analysis, and no evaluation mechanism suitable for my country's characteristics and the regional characteristics of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was formed. This innovative research very meaningful.
It is understood that when the Shenzhen Customs scientific research team conducted research on the needs of foreign trade enterprises and customs supervision work, they found that the trade facilitation evaluation mechanism of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area could be established to quantitatively evaluate the level of trade facilitation. The scientific research team worked hard on the evaluation mechanism and explored a set of evaluation models that conform to the characteristics of trade facilitation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This project is the first to propose a five-dimensional evaluation model for trade facilitation in the Bay Area based on multidimensional value theory, including security, measurability, accuracy, timeliness, and portability. Explore the adaptability of the model to promote trade facilitation in the Greater Bay Area, and form a "Qianhai sample" that can be replicated.
The implementation of the project will provide useful reference and reference for accelerating the construction process of my country's "three smart" customs model of smart customs, smart border, and smart sharing Unicom, and will help further promote the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to join hands in participating in the "Belt and Road" construction To create a corresponding cross-border trade facilitation customs clearance environment is of great strategic significance to realize the free flow of all factors in the Greater Bay Area.
