Anhui Free Trade Zone contributes "Anhui Experience" to the whole country

"From January to October this year, the three zones of Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone achieved import and export of 156.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%, 18.6 percentage points higher than the average growth rate of the province; the actual use of foreign capital (FDI) was 615 million dollars; 12823 new registered enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 36%, 32.9 percentage points higher than the average growth rate of the province." On November 30, at the press conference held by the Information Office of the Anhui Provincial Government, Liu Guang, Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Anhui Province, introduced the recent progress of the construction of Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone.


Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone was established in September 2020, covering 119.86 square kilometers, covering Hefei, Wuhu and Bengbu. It is understood that Hefei, Wuhu and Bengbu have achieved good results this year. Relevant data shows that from January to October this year, Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone contributed 25% of the province's imports and exports, 32.9% of the utilized foreign capital, and 3.9% of the newly registered enterprises.


In terms of foreign trade, the import and export of Hefei and Wuhu Comprehensive Bonded Area increased by 34.1% and 61.1% respectively, both higher than the provincial average; From January to October, the market procurement trade volume of Bengbu District reached 2.76 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.7 times.


In terms of utilization of foreign capital, the actual utilization of foreign capital by the manufacturing industry in the pilot free trade zone was US $130 million, up 329.3% year on year; The actual use of foreign capital in high-tech industries was 490 million US dollars, accounting for 79% of the total use of foreign capital in the FTZ, 77.8 percentage points higher than the same period last year.


In terms of investment projects. From January to October, 338 projects worth more than 100 million yuan were signed in the district, and the amount of capital attracted by agreement was 245.07 billion yuan, up 5.3% and 1.5% year on year respectively. The registration rate, operation rate and capital availability rate of newly signed projects since this year are 77.8%, 48.2% and 6.6% respectively.


In addition, in terms of institutional innovation, from January to October this year, Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone actively cooperated with Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Pilot Free Trade Zones to hold the Yangtze River Delta Pilot Free Trade Zone Institutional Innovation Forum. Three system innovation cases, including the "industrialization fund equity investment reform" in Hefei area, "the" entrepreneurship and innovation coupon "universal universal universal exchange mode in the Yangtze River Delta", and "the new mode of shared cabin management in the Yangtze River branch transport routes" in Wuhu area, were successfully selected into the second batch of system innovation cases in the Yangtze River Delta Pilot Free Trade Zone, contributing "Anhui experience" to the country.
