From April 17th to 18th, the launching ceremony of the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) chain stabilization series special training ceremony and petrochemical industry special training was held in Ningbo. Yu Benlin, director of the International Department of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the training and delivered a mobilization speech. Li Guanding, Deputy Mayor of Ningbo Municipal Government, Shi Qiqi, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and Pang Guanglian, Deputy Secretary General of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, delivered speeches.

Director Yu Benlin said that since RCEP came into effect, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments, has vigorously promoted the high-quality implementation of RCEP, guided and supported localities, industries and enterprises to actively connect with the preferential policies of the agreement, and achieved good results. It is hoped that the majority of enterprises will take more active actions to further grasp the content of the agreement by participating in training, actively participate in the restructuring and adjustment of the regional industrial chain and supply chain, identify and grasp their own development opportunities, and properly respond to challenges to optimize regional industries. Make full preparations for layout and continuous enjoyment of preferential policy dividends in the agreement in the medium and long term.

The 2023 RCEP chain stabilization series of special trainings will be sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, focusing on improving the ability of relevant industries to effectively use the RCEP agreement, and give full play to the important role of the agreement in stabilizing the chain. The petrochemical industry special training is the first training this year, and more than 120 business leaders or senior management personnel participated on-site. The training was also broadcast live online to fully expand the coverage of participating companies and achieved good results. The training courses include the main content of RCEP and the interpretation of relevant rules, opportunities and challenges faced by the petrochemical industry and its subordinate specific industries, and countermeasures.
