Deeply grasp the new strategic environment for China's development

2022-11-23 17:018610

At present, changes in the world, times and history are unfolding in an unprecedented way. On the one hand, the historical trend of peace, development, cooperation and win-win results is unstoppable, which determines the future and destiny of mankind; On the other hand, such hegemonic and hegemonic acts as bullying, extortion, zero sum game and so on do great harm. The peace deficit, development deficit, security deficit and governance deficit increase, and human society faces unprecedented challenges.

Since 2022, with the enhancement of the competitiveness and product strength of China's automobile enterprises and the growth of overseas demand, China's automobile exports have continued to rise. The evolution of the world's centennial changes has accelerated, and the trend of economic strength is more obvious than that of "rising in the east and falling in the west"

Since entering the 21st century, emerging market countries and developing countries have risen rapidly, and their development trend is obviously stronger than that of developed economies. The world economic pattern is undergoing the most revolutionary changes since modern times. According to the statistics of the International Monetary Fund, from 2001 to 2021, the proportion of emerging markets and developing economies in the total world economy will increase from 21.15% to 40.92%, while the proportion of developed economies in the total world economy will decrease from 78.85% to 59.08%. Emerging markets and developing economies still maintain a faster growth rate than developed economies. Their contribution to world economic growth has reached 80%, becoming the main driving force of global economic growth. The growth of economic strength has had a profound impact on the world economy, science and technology, culture, security, political structure, etc. It has promoted profound changes in the global governance system, and the international status and voice of emerging market countries and developing countries have continued to improve.

The epidemic situation in the 21st century has a profound impact on the world economy

The COVID-19 has profoundly changed the world and the way of production and life of human beings. Under the impact of the epidemic in the th century, the industrial chains of all countries in the world have been affected to varying degrees. All countries have seen the fragility of the global supply chain, and have put the security of the industrial chain supply chain at a higher priority. They have implemented the policy of "internal inspection". The trend of localization and regionalization of the industrial chain supply chain has emerged. The decoupling strategy implemented by the United States and the West, together with the decoupling strategy, has created new challenges to the security and stability of China's industrial chain supply chain. We must firmly hold the strategic basis and autonomy of development in our own hands. We must not only adhere to reform and opening up, but also adhere to independent and self reliant development, and accelerate the construction of a new development pattern.

Global issues are highlighted, anti globalization trend of thought is rising, unilateralism and protectionism are rising significantly

In recent years, problems and challenges have emerged in coping with climate change, preventing and controlling infectious diseases, and ensuring food security and energy security, posing new challenges for global governance. In particular, the outbreak of the Ukrainian crisis and the comprehensive sanctions imposed by the United States and the West on Russia further worsened the external environment. China is the largest energy importer, and the global energy supply shortage and price fluctuation pose challenges to China's energy security. Climate change, the COVID-19 and geopolitical conflicts also have a serious impact on world trade and investment, global financial market stability, global food security, etc. In order to safeguard their existing interests, the United States and other western developed countries have also frequently taken financial, scientific, technological, trade and other means to contain emerging market countries and developing countries, constantly provoked trade frictions, resulting in a sustained downturn in world economic growth, which has seriously hindered the orderly restructuring of the global industrial chain supply chain value chain. These provide both opportunities and new challenges for China to cope with global problems and participate in global governance.

The United States adjusts its strategy towards China and does everything possible to contain China

In 2021, the total economic output of China at the current US dollar price will be more than 77% of that of the US. With the closer economic strength between China and the United States, the suspicion of the US government and the opposition against China has increased significantly, and the struggle, competition and containment are strengthening, while the cooperation is weakening. Some western countries, led by the United States, continue to put together new groups and partners to vigorously implement the strategy and policy of suppressing China. They not only set obstacles in economic and trade, science and technology, people to people and cultural exchanges and other aspects, but also use ideology to draw a line. They continue to create trouble in various aspects, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, sea, and human rights, making China face a more severe international environment than ever before. This requires us to recognize the nature of the United States and other western countries, strengthen our historical confidence, enhance our historical initiative, earnestly handle our own affairs, adhere to the strategic resolve of overwhelming the mountain, and overcome any challenges and difficulties, so as to ensure that the ship of socialism with Chinese characteristics can move steadily to the future.

In order to ensure that China will become a modern socialist power by the middle of this century, we must deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishment", strengthen the "four consciousness", strengthen the "four self-confidence", and achieve the "two maintenance", firmly grasp the new strategic opportunities and requirements facing China's development, and the central task of the Party in the new era and new journey, adhere to and strengthen the comprehensive leadership of the Party, and adhere to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Adhere to the people centered development concept, deepen reform and opening up, carry forward the spirit of struggle, promote the overall layout of "Five in One" and the strategic layout of "Four Comprehensions" in a coordinated manner, work hard, forge ahead bravely, and work together to write a new chapter in building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.
