Nansha became the first import demonstration zone to participate in the 19th China-ASEAN Expo, which is being held from Sept 16 to 19 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Its booth has the theme of "Facing the World, New Start."
Nansha is also holding special events for foreign economic and trade cooperation to showcase the achievements of the Nansha import Trade Promotion Innovation Demonstration Zone.
Guangzhou Nansha import Trade Promotion Innovation Demonstration Zone actively promotes economic and trade cooperation with ASEAN countries under the deployment of the RCEP and the Belt and Road Initiative.
In June this year, the State Council issued the Nansha Plan, an overall plan for Nansha to deepen comprehensive cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, which provides an opportunity for Nansha to accelerate the construction of an import demonstration zone.
