On December 26th, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, in conjunction with the Guangzhou branch of CITIC Bank, heldthe 2025 Guangdong Provincial Multinational Corporation Regional Headquarters Policy Lecture and Award Ceremony, during which recognition certificates were issued to 56 regional headquarters of multinational companies, including Walmart (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Federal Pharmaceutical. Zhang Jinsong, the director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, and Xue Fengqing, the president of the Guangzhou branch of CITIC Bank, attended the event and delivered speeches, with Zhu Xiaojun, the deputy director, chairing the event.
Zhang Jinsong, director of the Department, stated that Guangdong is a major foreign investment province in China. Since the reform and opening-up, foreign enterprises have continuously been optimistic about Guangdong. The province has established more than 370,000 foreign-funded enterprises and utilized more than 600 billion US dollars in foreign capital. In the first 11 months of this year, Guangdong's actual foreign investment increased by 9.2%, ranking among the forefront among the major economic provinces. We are confident in the high-level use of foreign capital and high-level opening-up. Our confidence stems from the strong will of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee to lead China's high-level opening-up, from the development miracles and business spirit created by the reform and opening-up沃土of Guangdong, and from the trust votes cast by multinational companies in Guangdong. It is hoped that multinational companies will seize the strategic opportunities of Guangdong's "15th Five-Year Plan" and continue to invest in and deeply cultivate Guangdong, sharing the dividends of high-level opening-up and high-quality development.

Senior management representatives from Amway (China), Andritz, and Kraft Heinz shared their development history and future vision in Guangdong, and expressed their intention to further increase their investment layout in Guangdong and share the opportunities of Guangdong's open development.
