On April 25, the 4th Anniversary Press Conference of Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone was held in Guangzhou, hosted by Southern Finance All Media Group and undertaken by China Free Trade Zone Information Port.

According to the data provided by the Free Trade Office of Guangdong Province, since the establishment of the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone in April 2015, it has focused on institutional innovation, boldly experimented, boldly ventured, and independently reformed. Actively carry out "initiative" and "differentiation" explorations in terms of building a high-level opening-up hub and other aspects, forming 456 institutional innovation achievements, replicating and promoting 102 reform and innovation experiences and 92 innovation cases to the whole province.

According to a reporter from the 21st Century Business Herald, from April 2015 to the end of 2018, more than 250,000 enterprises were newly established in the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the actual use of foreign capital was 18.6 billion US dollars, with an average annual growth rate of 28.3%.

Among them, in 2018, the investment in fixed assets in the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone reached 128.325 billion yuan, and the tax revenue was 68.042 billion yuan; the foreign trade import and export was 902.67 billion yuan, accounting for 12.6% of the province. 70 of the world's top 500 companies have invested and established 309 companies in the zone, attracting 79 headquarters-type companies.

At the same time, the "Best Cases of Institutional Innovation in the 4th Anniversary of Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone" was released at the meeting. The "Best Cases of Institutional Innovation in the 4th Anniversary of the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone" went through procedures such as self-recommendation by the three areas of the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone and centralized review by experts. Finally, 15 best cases were selected by the Free Trade Office of Guangdong Province. Among them, 5 are investment and trade facilitation, 5 are international business environment, and 5 are financial opening and innovation.
