Legal Obligations

1. You can stay in Hainan for 30 days after this visa-free entry. During your stay, you are not allowed to stay in Hainan or go to other parts of China without approval. If you need to extend your stay in Hainan or go to other regions in China for legitimate reasons, you must apply for a visa to the exit-entry administration department of the Hainan Public Security Bureau (specific requirements are attached).

You are permitted to stay in Hainan for up to 30 days after your visa-free entry. You shall not overstay or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland without permission during the stay. If you need to extend your stay in Hainan or travel to other areas of Chinese Mainland with valid reasons, you shall apply for a visa to the exit-entry administration authorities of Hainan's public security organs (specific requirements are attached).

2. You should register for accommodation. To stay in a hotel in Hainan Province, you should provide your passport to the hotel for accommodation registration; if you stay in a place other than a hotel, you should register with the local public security organ within 24 hours after check-in.

You shall go through accommodation registration formalities. If you stay in hotels in Hainan, you need to provide your passport to the hotel for registration. And if you stay outside of a hotel, you or your host shall register to the public security organ of your place of residence within 24 hours after your entry into Hainan.
