In April last year, the Marine Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources signed a cooperation agreement with the Shandong Provincial Oceanic Bureau, relying on the Shandong Provincial Institute of Marine Resources and Environment to jointly build the "Yellow Bohai Sea Blue Carbon Monitoring and evaluation Research Center" and the Marine Ecological Early Warning Field Scientific Observation and Research Station . At present, the platform has carried out field surveys in the distribution area of Long Island islands and reefs, and the distribution area of seagrass beds in Xikou Bay, Chang Island-Miao Island, to determine the types of seagrass and reefs, and to obtain relevant data information and image materials.
