On September 5, Li Fei, assistant minister of the Ministry of Commerce, and Yuhide Hirai, review officer of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, co-chaired the 20th regular consultation between the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan at the vice-ministerial level. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening policy coordination, optimizing the business environment, stabilizing business expectations, promoting practical cooperation in green and low-carbon fields, high-quality implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and deepening multilateral and regional economic cooperation.
