The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect for Malaysia on March 18. From March 18, China and Malaysia will mutually fulfill their commitments under the agreement on the opening of trade in goods, trade in services and investment market access, and fulfill their obligations in various fields such as trade facilitation, e-commerce, and intellectual property rights. The entry into force of RCEP in Malaysia will effectively promote the mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and investment between China and Malaysia, and bring more dividends to the enterprises and people of the two countries. It will also be conducive to the complementary advantages and deep integration of regional industrial and supply chains, and will bring new opportunities for promoting regional economic integration and promoting regional and global economic growth.
