On December 19th, Party Secretary Tan Rongbing led a team to Chengdu to carry out investment promotion work. Through on-site inspections, discussions and exchanges, they communicated and coordinated with Sichuan Silk Road Global Co., Ltd., Qingbaijiang Yuhe Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Center, and the Southwest Company of Zhongtong Logistics Group.
At Sichuan Silk Road Universal Co., Ltd., the two sides had in-depth communication mainly around the trade cooperation of bulk commodities such as imported sulfur powder, imported copper mines, imported refined copper, and aluminum ingots. Tan Rongbing expressed the hope to leverage Sichuan Silk Road Universal's rich experience and global network in the field of international trade to jointly explore new cooperation models and create a special commodity import and export port.
At the Qingbaijiang Yuhe Cold Chain (Chengdu) Trading Center, the two sides exchanged views on how to rely on the designated supervision site for imported meat and the China-Europe Railway Express, the new channel of the western land-sea, and other international logistics channels to jointly build a cold chain storage distribution system.
At the Southwest Company of Zhongtong Logistics Group, the two sides had communication and docking around key cooperation projects such as environmental protection equipment, lithium battery recycling and purification for reuse, and hydrogen-powered drones. Tan Rongbing emphasized that the Free Trade Zone (Specialized Bonded Zone) is fully promoting the "zone-port" development, relying on the advantage of the international railway hub, and actively building a "channel + hub + network" modern logistics system, providing more efficient and low-cost logistics solutions for enterprises in the zone.
Nie Heping, a member of the Party Working Committee, and the heads of relevant departments participated in the inspection.
