The Ministry of Commerce recently issued the "Key Work List of Pilot Free Trade Zones (2023-2025)", making specific arrangements for the work priorities of each pilot free trade zone in the last three years. In the list of key tasks for the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone released this time, many of them involve the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, including promoting the innovation and development of the aviation economy, improving the "BRICS+" trade digital system, building an offshore trade information sharing platform, and promoting the marine economy. 　　In order to implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, take the 10th anniversary of the construction of the Pilot Free Trade Zone as an opportunity to accelerate the implementation of the Pilot Free Trade Zone upgrading strategy and promote high-quality development, the Ministry of Commerce, in conjunction with relevant localities and departments, formulated the above work list. The work list is clear: in the next three years, the relevant pilot free trade zones plan to independently promote the implementation of 164 key tasks, and each pilot free trade zone will have 7 to 10 key tasks, including major institutional innovations, key development industries, important platform construction and major projects activities etc.

　　According to the key work list of Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone (2023-2025), Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone will carry out nine tasks around the list within three years, including building a first-class legal service cluster, building a cross-strait professional qualification docking and mutual recognition platform, optimizing the Taiwan cargo routes, etc.

　　Among them, there are four key tasks directly related to the Xiamen Free Trade Zone. The first is to promote the innovation and development of the aviation economy, cultivate the industry chain of the entire life cycle of aircraft, build a "one-stop" base for important aviation maintenance in the world, and gather more international route resources. The second is to improve the "BRICS+" trade digitalization system, promote the construction of a trade digital demonstration zone in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, explore the establishment of a trade digital public service platform, and improve the digital level of port supervision. The third is to build an offshore trade information sharing platform, support banking financial institutions to provide reasonable credit lines for offshore trade enterprises, rationally implement offshore trade support policies, and promote high-quality development of the offshore economy. The fourth is to promote the construction of marine economic development demonstration zones, promote the market-oriented allocation of marine resource elements, carry out innovations in sea-related financial service models, promote the extension of emerging marine industry chains and the improvement of industrial supporting capabilities, and innovate marine environmental governance and ecological protection models.
