On the morning of June 16, the 21st Straits Youth Forum opened in Xiamen, Fujian.

　　The theme of this forum is "Youth work together to create the future and work together to seek rejuvenation". Nearly 450 well-known scholars, leaders of youth associations and youth representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered together to talk about cross-strait relations. The event included a keynote forum, six parallel forums, the 2023 Straits Youth Association Roundtable, cross-strait youth research and exchange and other activities.

　　The keynote forum was carried out in the form of a combination of guest speeches and Taiwan youth sharing, and was divided into three chapters: "mutual learning and mutual learning, working together", "integrated development and sharing convenience", and "using oneself as a bridge to connect the two sides of the Taiwan Strait".

　　In the chapter of "mutual learning and mutual learning", Wu Jiezhuang, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and chairman of the Youth Committee of the World Chinese Entrepreneurs United Promotion Association, elaborated on the grand vision of the future of the Greater Bay Area. Taiqing Li Weiguo Narrates the entrepreneurial experience of closely following the national development strategy and showing his talents in the mainland.

　　In the chapter "Integrated Development and Shared Convenience", Guo Yifan, a young Taiwan youth, tells the story of "landing" and starting a business for 7 years, and "carrying" a cup of coffee on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Said that it will continue to create better conditions for Taiwan compatriots to live, study, start a business, and get a job in the mainland.

　　In the chapter "Use yourself as a bridge to connect the two sides of the Taiwan Strait", the self-media writer Guo Xueyun shared the perspective of the Taipei girls who have been "North Drifting" for ten years to see the mainland. Representatives of the Black Cat Cross-Strait Youth Cultural Tourism base Lai Lai, Johnson, and Datou vividly introduced the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The "village in the city" rural revitalization model jointly created by young people, and jointly sang the original song "Youth on Both Sides of the Strait".

　　It is worth mentioning that, for the first time, the Youth Federation of other provinces other than Fujian took the lead in organizing sub-forums and a series of activities throughout the year, which greatly enhanced the influence and coverage of the Straits Youth Forum, and radiated and drove inland and coastal provinces. The city actively participates in cross-strait youth exchanges, and builds a work pattern of global participation and collaborative efforts.

　　According to the person in charge of the organizer, the first Straits Youth Forum kicked off in Fuzhou in 2003, and has been successfully held for 21 sessions so far. Over the past 21 years, the forum has adhered to the concept of "Let's sow hope together, and let us cultivate the future together". Nearly 20,000 young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait collided with each other on topics such as science and technology, economy, and culture. Development, promoting the reunification of the motherland and national rejuvenation have injected youth power.
