  In recent years, the cooperation between Hainan and RCEP member countries has continued to deepen. In 2022, the import and export volume of goods between Hainan and RCEP member countries will be 71.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.7%. The growth rate of imports and exports to Laos, New Zealand, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam all exceeded 60%. This year, many RCEP member countries once again organized a group to appear at the Consumer Expo.

  At this year's Consumer Expo, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam participated in the form of national pavilions. Japan's exhibition area exceeds 1,800 square meters, including more than 250 brands from more than 50 companies. Both the exhibition area and the number of brands rank first among RCEP member countries.

  In terms of procurement, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade organized 18 companies to form a trading group to find business opportunities in tropical fruits, high-end food, coffee and other fields. Buyers from Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and other countries and regions all attended the fair.
