In the first quarter of this year, Dongjiang imported 4.55 billion yuan of cold chain products, including 3.08 billion yuan of meat imports, a year-on-year increase of 57%, accounting for about 70% of Tianjin's total.
A good industrial ecology is attracting the continuous accumulation of corporate resources. Since the construction of the base, Dongjiang has introduced more than 60 cold chain-related enterprises. At present, it has gathered nearly a thousand cold chain enterprises represented by COFCO, Mengniu, Shounong, and Shuanghui, and the trade scale is growing steadily.
It is particularly worth mentioning that since the beginning of this year, a number of iconic cold chain logistics projects have been completed and started, and the supporting functions of the industry have been further improved.
For example, the Wanwei Tianjin Dongjiang Port Cold Chain Project, the largest cold chain park with the highest construction and service standards in Tianjin, has been completed, with a new cold storage capacity of 100,000 tons; The cold chain processing project started at the beginning of this year, which will fill the functional gap of the lack of cold chain processing projects in the Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Area, and further enhance the added value of the cold chain logistics industry; The chain logistics base does not guarantee regional service capabilities.
Green and intelligent are important directions for the development of cold chain logistics.
Dongjiang Comprehensive Free Zone is committed to green and low-carbon first, and is making every effort to build the city's first low-carbon cold chain logistics park. At present, in the park, the first heavy-duty truck replacement station in Tianjin’s professional service cold chain park has been put into use, which has greatly improved the efficiency of new energy transportation and reduced logistics costs; Wanwei’s Tianjin Dongjiang Port Cold Chain Project has built rooftop photovoltaics, reclaimed water facilities, and waste heat. Recycling and other devices help reduce carbon emissions, and the project has obtained LEED platinum-level international green building certification; Beijing-Tianjin Logistics Park will build and install a rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by nearly 4,000 tons per year. Dongjiang is building a cold chain logistics industrial park that can save energy and reduce consumption throughout the life cycle, helping to build a world-class port.
At the same time, Dongjiang's cold chain digital industry service platform business is also accelerating, and the platform effect is gradually emerging. Since the platform was launched at the end of last year, more than 300 enterprises have settled in the platform. The categories on the shelves cover nearly 400 kinds of pig, beef and sheep raw materials and meat products. Enterprises provide a full range of digital services.
