Yueyang Free Trade Zone Huarong linkage Innovation Zone is located in Hongshantou Industrial Park, Dongshan Town, Huarong County, with a planned area of 15.6 square kilometers. Relying on resources such as ports, land, deep-water terminals and green mines, as well as the advantages of Guoneng Yueyang Power Plant and the coal, iron and liquid intermodal transportation, storage and distribution base, the park is accelerating the construction of China Africa industrial and trade park, accurately and meticulously drawing the industrial map, and cultivating emerging industrial clusters. The park is planned to start construction in October this year. After completion, it will become an important window for Huarong County to open up to the outside world, a major carrier for attracting investment, an optimal platform for promoting new industrialization, a leading role in county economic development and a pilot area for system and mechanism innovation.
Liu Tiejian said that Huarong linkage Innovation Zone has a good momentum of development, the project has been smoothly promoted, and all the work has created a new engine for innovation and development. He stressed that it is necessary to promote interaction through linkage innovation, create a workshop for the linkage innovation development committee of the Free Trade Zone through innovation, carry out committee activity days, and strengthen the linkage with Yueyang Free Trade Zone.
