China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo is the only national-level institutional exhibition for Central and Eastern Europe, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.
From May 16th to 20th, the 3rd China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo and International Consumer Goods Expo will be held in Ningbo, and the 24th China Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair will also be held at the same time.

At the press conference, Vice Minister of Commerce Li Fei introduced that the theme of this expo is "Deepening Pragmatic Cooperation and Joining Hands to the Future", which is the first national-level exhibition held in my country for the Central and Eastern European region after the smooth transition of epidemic prevention and control . Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries is an important part of China-EU relations. Since the establishment of the cooperation mechanism in 2012, the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides has made positive progress: Lu Shan, the vice governor of Zhejiang Province, introduced that during the second China-Central and Eastern Europe Expo, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the conference, proposing "three advantages", that is, it is beneficial to enhance the Chinese market's understanding of Central and Eastern European commodities. It is conducive to expanding the exports of Central and Eastern European countries to China, and is conducive to all parties to overcome the challenges brought about by the new crown pneumonia epidemic and promote economic recovery. These three "benefits" provide fundamental guidelines for the success of the Central and Eastern European Countries Expo, and Zhejiang will thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter instructions. Last year, the import and export between Zhejiang and Central and Eastern European countries reached US$25.21 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%, of which imports increased by 22.7% year-on-year. In the first quarter of this year, import and export maintained a rapid growth of 8.7%. At the same time, promote exchanges and cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries in the whole province. A number of iconic achievements have been made in several fields such as automobile manufacturing, biomedicine, and photovoltaic power generation.
