Russia Moscow International Building Materials Exhibition (MosBuild) is the largest international trade fair for construction and interior decoration materials in Eastern Europe and Russia, and has been certified by the "International Exhibition Union UFI". The exhibition area is 100,000 square meters, from 40 countries and 82 regions of the Russian Federation. 90% of buyers are from mainland Russia. The exhibition received strong support from the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, the Union of Russian Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Union of Russian Architects, and the Union of Russian Designers.

The Russian construction market turnover is about 4 trillion rubles per year. Since 2020, the Russian construction market is gradually recovering, and it has basically reached the level of 2019 at the end of June. Housing remains the driver of the Russian construction market. More than 50% of the residences in Russia were built in the 1950s and 1960s, which are basically obsolete in terms of morality and technology, and more than 60% of the people are actively looking for and trying to solve housing conditions. Professional analysts say that to solve this problem, up to 120 million square meters of housing needs to be built every year, and the Russian government has provided a package of measures to support the country's construction industry and housing needs. China is a major importer of Russian building materials and decorative materials. For stone, porcelain and glass products alone, the annual import volume reaches about 1.26 billion US dollars, accounting for 29.2% of the total imports of building materials.
