According to a report by the Italian Milan Furniture Industry Economic Information Consulting Center: Since 1998, Mexico's furniture industry has shown a momentum of rapid growth, of which furniture production has increased by 16.5%, and furniture exports have reached 2.879 billion US dollars, an increase of 19% over the previous year. Objectively speaking, Mexico's furniture industry has not participated in international competition for a long time, but in the 1980s, the entire Mexican wood and furniture industry underwent major adjustments. There are more than 19,000 furniture companies in Mexico, employing 175,000 people. Most of the enterprises are small enterprises and do not do much business. Upholstered furniture accounts for 16% of the total furniture output, followed by office furniture and kitchen furniture. The largest output is all kinds of civilian furniture, such as bedroom furniture, dining room furniture and living room furniture. Today, Mexico is one of the major furniture manufacturing countries in North America, with 74% of furniture companies engaged in the production of wooden furniture and the rest producing metal furniture (wrought iron and steel). As Mexico has fewer and fewer forest resources available for commercial purposes, its timber imports are increasing year by year. At the same time, it is also a major importer of furniture and accessories.

The exhibition is organized by the Mexican Lumber Industry Supply Association (AMPIMM). There will be more than 150 brands from 150 countries on display, which is the most innovative and cutting-edge exhibition. The exhibition will provide furniture manufacturing process supplies, such as kitchen supplies, bedroom, office, bathroom supplies, etc. In 2016, 3,650 visitors visited the exhibition.
